A Thought From Larry

I would like to clarify something that was brought to my attention from the blog on October 4. First what God was teaching me is the fact that when I seek some ones forgiveness at times I am not doing it with a sorrowful heart and true repentance of a wrong I have committed against the individual. God showed me that I was going through the motion of seeking forgiveness because that is what we are taught to do as believers. God through this passage of 2 Corinthians 7: 9-10 was convicting me of my sin for the way I had asked forgiveness from a person without truly being remorseful for what I said. Based on this passage true repentance brings about change. So my prayer is when I wrong some one that I would go and seek forgiveness with a true repentance of a sorrowful heart and not a worldly sorrow disguised as saying the words will you forgive me because I know that is what we are suppose to say. I hope this clarifies what I was trying to communicate on October 4.
