Mark 11:17: And he was teaching them and saying to them, “Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations’? But you have made it a den of robbers.” 

This passage really stood out to me this morning as we talk about His House being a House of Prayer. The reason it stood out to me was the part about “FOR ALL THE NATIONS”. I missed this the other times I have been in this passage. Several things The LORD hit me with: Is wvBc becoming a house of prayer for all the Nations? Is wvBc a place that stands out in our city? Are our house churches becoming a house of prayer for all Nations? Are our house churches standing out in our communities? Am I a person who prays for all Nations? Am I standing out in my community?

Israel was to be a place that worshiped the one true God. His temple was to be a place for all Nations to come and worship the one true God. 

As you have seen a change in our corporate gathering we truly desire to become a house of prayer where everyone can participate. I pray that we will see more participation in these gatherings as we learn to become a house of prayer which is a form of worship. I know The LORD is really hitting me about my prayer life. I pray we will continue to move in that direction corporately; house churches; and individually. 

Lastly let’s continue to pray for all the Nations. I have been so wrapped up in what is happening in America that I forget about the rest of the Nations. 

Father please forgive me for not praying for all the nations and just what is happening in America. Father I know your church will be built and we are called to pray for the world. Please forgive us and help us continue to become a House of Prayer and For All the Nations in Jesus' powerful Name, Amen.
