So I write this unscheduled blog post from a secret location without knowledge of anyone (especially Skip) for fear of retribution. If you guys know Skip at all you know he hates any form of public acknowledgement and I know I take my life in my hands by writing this (kidding... kinda), but reading God's Word today left me no choice.

Hebrews 13:7
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
7 Remember those who led you, who spoke the word of God to you; and considering the [a]result of their conduct, imitate their faith.

In this Christmas season where we are getting all kinds of mixed and false messages, from Santa to the minimizing of Christmas by saying "Happy Holidays" (right Doug), I think its appropriate to remember our Pastors. To honor and thank Skip for faithfully and fearfully teaching/living God's Word to us for so many years.

So that it is, just wanted to pass that on and maybe when you see Skip this Christmas eve service give him a big hug (he loves hugs) and tell him thanks (or gift cards....just kidding).
