“…as you know, we had the boldness in our God to speak to you the gospel of God…” 1 Thessalonians 2:2

Every week, my wife meets with an accountability group. As they were studying/sharing last week, a friend that hadn’t attended before joined the group. She was unsure of her relationship with God but wanted to know more. As you might expect, the group, shared the good news of Jesus with her. I couldn’t help but share her excitement when she came home and told me about the experience of sharing Jesus. Isn’t it always amazing to hear someone tell about their opportunity to share about Jesus and the change He brings into our lives?!

The easy question for me to ask is when was the last time YOU told someone about Jesus?

The harder question for me to ask is when was the last time I shared the gospel of God? Honestly, I ask God every day to give me an opportunity to share. I want “…boldness in our God to speak…the gospel of God.”

Father, I pray for a bold heart to declare Jesus “…in season and out of season…” II Tim 4:2
