By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. Hebrews 11:8

An inheritance... Something given to me that I didn't earn and I don't deserve. Strange to think that the Lord might want me to go somewhere that I don't know where I'm going in order to receive it. Why does the Lord call me to the unknown? And what would the inheritance have to be in order for me to go?

Lord, please cause the inheritance that I have in you to be so valuable to me that I would be willing to go anywhere you called me. Give me the faith of Abraham to go to a place that I don't even know where I am going because I know that you are calling me there to receive you as the inheritance. Lord so often I walk by sight, weighing the pros and cons according to the ways of man. Please help my perspective to transcend my circumstances and be focused on you.
