Word of the Day: Psalm 104:34

Word of the Day

Psalm 104:34

Let my meditation be pleasing to Him; as for me, I shall be glad in the LORD.

Meditation

I chose to stay in the Psalms for the month of May because they are such unique and rich resources for contemplation.

I intentionally passed over Psalm 1. It truly is more "wisdom" writing (like Proverbs) than it is "praise" (to be sung). But, I can't get through the month without it. Psalm 1:2 says, "But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night". My heart must beat in tune with God's. The only way I can do this is "digest" His Word daily. There is no substitute reading that brings me closer to Him and instructs me more on how to be like His Son, Jesus.

So, now, reviewing what I have written I only have one suggestion. First, read all of Psalm 104 and then read all of Psalm 1. Then think of how they relate to one another. What is God telling YOU!

Blessings,

Tony
