Word of the Day: Luke 9:23-27

Word of the Day

Well not sure what kind of lottery everyone won to get to read thoughts from me but my advice is stop playing that lottery! So for better or worse tell December comes you get to read about what God is doing in my life and hopefully by reading about how God beats me over the head encourages you to spend more time with Him. Quick background, my wife Sarah and I have 4 kids, and we have been a part of student ministries at wvBc well since day one, we love the focus our Church has on loving God by loving people, an attitude of giving your life away so you can have more of Him (John 3:30) and to be obedient by making Biblical disciples(Mt 28).

I will leave you with this:
Luke 9:23-27
23 And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow Me. 24 For whoever wishes to save his [n]life will lose it, but whoever loses his [o]life for My sake, he is the one who will save it. 25 For what is a man profited if he gains the whole world, and loses or forfeits himself? 26 For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when He comes in His glory, and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels. 27 But I say to you truthfully, there are some of those standing here who will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God.”

What does it look like for you and your family to "take up your cross DAILY"?
