Word of the Day: Luke 22:31-32

Word of the Day

"Simon, Simon, behold, Satan demanded to have you, that he might sift you like wheat, but I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned again, strengthen your brothers."
Luke 22:31-32

To think that Satan continues to accuse me and demand to sift me like wheat... what a scary thought. To think that the Holy Spirit intercedes for me and prays for me with groanings too deep for words... what a humbling thought. And I know that through Christ I have been given victory over sin and death... yet in the meantime there is a battle. And during that battle what would the Lord Jesus have me do... "Strengthen the brothers."

"Father in heaven, I pray that your Holy Spirit would KEEP praying for me. Lord, please protect me from Satan and do not let him sift me like wheat. Lord, in the midst of this battle, cause me to be filled with your Spirit in order to strengthen my brothers. Lord, I ask that you would fight this battle through me and cause me to lead in such a way that Val, Robbie, Elise and William would want to follow."

Blessings,
Rob
