Word of the Day

Lamentations 3:20-26

We are back from a quick trip to Dallas for the funeral of my 26 year old nephew. Thank you for your prayers as we saw God's amazing grace and protection throughout our trip. Just to give you a few examples of what I mean. We drove through 9 hours of solid rain. I mean rain not drizzles. We arrived safely. We were able to serve as much as we could and share the gospel with many. God answered our prayers that nobody could hear or were able to with stand the cold wind during the grave side service. I know that may sound harsh but the final thoughts were to be given by AJ's Grandfather from Utah. He already spoke more than I could bare at the service from the Mormon perspective.

I was asked to open the service in prayer and find the appropriate Scripture for this time. After praying and watching people it became very evident to me they needed hope. These verses became my prayer for everyone throughout our time there. We have an amazing God who is faithful and His love never fails. He gives us a fresh start everyday no matter our circumstances. I pray that you will read these verses over and over again and know no matter the trial there is no grater hope than the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
