'When is the Right Time?'

"Now therefore, thus says the Lord of hosts, "Consider your ways!
Hag 1:2-8

When is it the right time to begin to build things that have eternal implication? Once I have a seminary degree, or have attended 'X' number of Bible Studies? Or when I get married and as a couple we can share the responsibilities? How about, when my kids are out of the house and I have more time? Haggai tells the people (broadly paraphrased) no matter what you have or where you are, there will always be an excuse to put off the work of the Lord. The moment we became followers of Christ, we became servants. It really isn't a choice. The privilege to serve our Most High God! Can it get any better than that? The work is continually before us. The harvest is great. The time is now!

Lord, constantly show me the work that must be done.
I don't want to stay at home and relax when there remains so
much to do in building Your eternal Kingdom.
