Recently my wife and I found ourselves going through a bout of what really are minor inconveniences/disappointments/changes including having our daughters little pre-school close down. Things that got us frustrated and even wondering what is God doing, is He really doing anything, why isn't He answering us, hello McFly (well didn't really say that one, but felt that way). Then God through His Word reminded me of how I was just like the Israelites who watched God do miracle after miracle only to complain at the next bend.

Isaiah 46:8-11

8 “Remember this, and be [a]assured;
Recall it to [b]mind, you transgressors.
9 “Remember the former things long past,
For I am God, and there is no other;
I am God, and there is no one like Me,
10 Declaring the end from the beginning,
And from ancient times things which have not been done,
Saying, ‘My purpose will be established,
And I will accomplish all My good pleasure’;
11 Calling a bird of prey from the east,
The man of [c]My purpose from a far country.
Truly I have spoken; truly I will bring it to pass.
I have planned it, surely I will do it.

Lines like "Remember this and be assured"...."I am God and there is no other"...."My purpose will be established"....."Truly I have spoken, truly I will bring it to pass. I have planned it, surely I WILL DO IT...really rock me to my core, who am I that I question God

His will not mine, His timing not mine, His life not mine.

God always has, always is, and always will be on the Throne.
