A Blog About Nothing and Everything

Word of the Day

So a little bit ago I whined to my wife and said "I'm supposed to be blogging but I don't have anything to say." She responded with "Why don't you write about that?" I laughed and began brushing my teeth and started thinking "that's not a bad idea." After all, there is a pretty catchy song out right now called Just say Jesus. Part of the lyrics go "When you don't know what to say, just say Jesus!" My wife is a genius. I knew this already, but confirmation is always good. The only down side is that now I've quoted lyrics from a song two times in a row. Check out these passages below and praise the Father for the Son through the Spirit.

Philippians 2:10-11
10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Hebrews 12:2
2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

1 Corinthians 2:2
2 For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.

Acts 4:10
10 let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead—by him this man is standing before you well.

Acts 4:13
13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.

Ephesians 1:20-23
20 that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.22 And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church,23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.

Revelation 22:20
20 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!

So, I guess in the end I didn't end up blogging about nothing because Jesus is everything.
