A Little Bit About Our History

In Dec. 2002, Skip and Laurie Ast were commissioned by Lake Pleasant Community Church - itself a church plant of only 3 months - to lead a team and plant a church located in the growing area of Surprise, Arizona. With about 35 people attending, West Valley Bible Church began a Thursday night home bible study Oct. 2003. Over the next 6 months, WVBC grew to just over 75 adults and the search intensified for a place to meet on Sundays. On April 4, 2004 our first Sunday services were held at the Sun City West Foundation, where we met for 2 years. In those 2 years, wvBc grew to a fellowship of over 250 adults and children. With a renewed commitment to glorify God by making disciples who make disciples, we moved into an office complex on Grand Avenue, April of 2006.

What Our Worship Services Are Like

When you come onto our campus, greeters will welcome you and help get you where you need to go. Once inside, you will be invited to participate in God-honoring worship (lead by our band and vocal team), you will reflect on God’s marvelous salvation during communion, and you will learn to apply God's Word through verse by verse teaching of the Bible.

Be Our Guest

Dress however you are comfortable; most come dressed very casually.  When you visit we won’t single you out or have you stand up to be introduced. We will encourage you to fill out a Connect Card so we can thank you for visiting and send you an email with more information about us. We will not solicit you for money, nor do we pass a plate. We make an offering box available in the back of the Worship Center for those who desire to give to God through West Valley Bible Church.  Come and see what we're all about.
