Word of the Day: Psalm 95:6-7(a)
Psalm 95:6-7(a)
Come, let us worship and bow down, Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture and the sheep of His hand.
Focus
A shift takes place from God our creator to God (Jesus) our redeemer. A much clearer focus on who I am ... a sheep brought into the household of God through His Son's sacrifice. God has rescued me and "handed" me over to my Shepherd.
How can I not "worship and bow down" ... sing with gusto, making a joyful noise? And How can I not "kneel before the Lord"...pray, taking advantage of the personal relationship He want's me to have with Him?
"Amazing grace how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see".
Okay, you've read it. Now sing it! Make a joyful noise.
Blessings,
Tony
